Nobody better embodies the marriage of steelpan and jazz then Lightning. Being known around Chicago as the Thelonious Monk of pan since he moved to Chicago from Trinidad in the '70s. The last time Lightning was in Woodstock it was for a sold-out performance at Stage Left Cafe while being accompanied by a Potts & Pans trio and we can't wait for him to be back!
