This chip-timed\, USATF certified 5K race has become a fun and festive community tradition\, celebrating the spirit of Groundhog Day while supporting a great cause Woodstock High School athletics.\n\nRun through Woodstock and go past some of the places in the movie. Run past the bowling alley\, piano teacher's house\, movie theater and Pennsylvanian Hotel. This event is being put on by the Woodstock High School Backers Club.\n\nWhat you get:\n\n\n Commemorative Finishers Medal\n Commemorative long-sleeve t-shirt\n 1 free beer from Kishwaukee Brewing (21 and over)\n Swag bag\n Post-race finishers village\n\n\n**NEW THIS YEAR\n\n\n Apparel Store: Purchase additional Groundhog Day 5K themed merchandise\n USATF Certified Course\n Automatic Chip Timing\n Run Streak Medals for 2nd year participants\n\n\n\n\n*Participants are welcome to run or walk\, but the "street course" will only be protected for 50 minutes.
