DESCRIPTION:For 54 consecutive years\, Judith Svalander has offered a pre-professional six-week workshop for the serious student of dance. This workshop culminates in a dynamic performance of these students dancing classical ballet\, character dance\, musical theater\, and contemporary works.\n\nDivided into three sections\, you'll see Julie Fiore Hirsch moving forward to next season's premiere of the full-length ballet Peter Pan. With workshop versions of the Lost Boys\, the Water\, Neverland Birds\, and the Pirates\, you will follow along with the creation of a new ballet.\n\nChesney Lofgren and William Chamberlin will present the students of all ages in ballet\, character\, and musical theater dance. This shows what can be the future of dance in McHenry County.\n\nTopping off the show will be Christina Luzwick's new contemporary work\, working title\, Beyondment.\n\nThis fast-paced show promises to entertain you.
