DESCRIPTION:Join us for an event celebrating women farmers! Our featured farmer will be Tiffany Eberle Kriner\, the author of a book of literary theory\, The Future of the Word\, and a book of lyric essays\, In Thought\, Word\, and Seed: Reckonings from a Midwest Farm. She is a professor of English at Wheaton College (IL)\, where she teaches American Literature and coordinates the Aequitas Fellows Program in Public Humanities and Arts\, a cohort-based honors program and creative studio. She also farms with her husband\, Josh\, at Root and Sky Farm in Marengo\, IL. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. Tickets are $15.00 ($5.00 from each ticket will be donated to The Land Conservancy).
