2026 Legend of the Pickle Holiday Scavenger Hunt Kickoff

It’s kind of a BIG DILL… Legend of the Pickle is BACK for 2026!

And this year, we’re celebrating something pretty amazing about our hometown:

🥒 Did you know ALL Claussen Pickles in the United States are made right here in Woodstock, Illinois?!

That’s right — Woodstock is America’s Pickle Town! 🇺🇸🥒

Join the Woodstock Area Chamber of Commerce & Industry and Claussen Pickles as we kick off the return of this beloved Woodstock tradition on National Pickle Day — Saturday, November 14 from 12:00–2:00 PM on the patio of Squire on the Square!

During the kickoff, Mayor Mike Turner will officially proclaim Woodstock “America’s Pickle Town,” and then it’s time for the hunt to begin!

🔎 THE LEGEND OF THE PICKLE SCAVENGER HUNT

November 14 – December 7, 2026

Pick up your official Legend of the Pickle play card and set off on a pickle-finding adventure throughout Woodstock!

Local businesses will have ornamental pickles hidden inside their businesses. Visit participating locations, find the required number of pickles and complete your play card.

Turn your completed card into the Woodstock Area Chamber of Commerce & Industry and you’ll:

🎄 Receive a Legend of the Pickle craft ornament for your own Christmas tree while supplies last

🎁 Be entered for a chance to win some GREAT prizes before the holidays!

🍔🍸 NEW THIS YEAR — TASTE AMERICA’S PICKLE TOWN!

We’re getting our local restaurants and bars in on the fun, too!

Throughout the hunt, participating Woodstock restaurants and bars will be creating limited-time pickle-inspired food and drink specials for you to try.

So while you’re hunting for pickles, grab lunch, meet some friends for dinner or drinks, do a little holiday shopping and discover businesses throughout Woodstock.
