A Chili Cook-Off will be held in conjunction with Woodstock's Groundhog Day Festivities. All of the cooking will take place in the kitchen of the Woodstock North High School classroom kitchen from 8 am Saturday, February 3rd. The public tasting and judging will take place from 12 noon at the Woodstock Moose Club.
Coordinator Rick Bellairs said, "We usually have a few returning cooks and a few new competitors". Entries are now being accepted on a first come first serve basis. There is a $25 entry fee. Meat will be provided by jewel Food Store. Contestants supply everything else.

The public is invited to a free tasting of the chili at the Woodstock Moose Club beginning as 12 noon Saturday, February 3rd. After sampling all of the different concoctions, the public can vote for their favorite.
There will also be a judging. Winners will be announced at 1 o'clock at the Woodstock Moose Club. There are prizes for 1st and 2nd place and "People's Choice".
Following the Chili Cook-Off, there will be a walking tour of some of the locations filmed in the making of the movie "Groundhog Day".
