The Woodstock Fine Arts Association presents Melissa Hannon, co-founder of Peace and Paws, an East Coast non-profit, animal shelter. Ms. Hannon's talk: Accent on the Smiles, will reveal how her non-profit, run by a skeleton crew grew to an organization which resulted in the adoptions of over 3,000 shelter dogs. By using the power of social media, Ms. Hannon her her husband Bo, engages tens of thousands of Facebook followers to their dogs: Giddy, Twinkle and Nugget. Following her presentatiion, Ms Hannon will answer audience questions, fulfilling the Creative Living Series as an experience of both inspiration and entertainment. The Creative Living Series is the nation's oldest, independent lecture series bringing distinguished and dynamic speakers to the Woodstock Opera House.
