Vendor Registration Open for MCC’s Small Business Opportunity and Resource Fair

[June 13, 2022. Crystal Lake, IL] Early-bird registration is now open for vendors interested in participating in McHenry County College’s (MCC) Small Business Opportunity and Resource Fair on Thursday, November 3, 2022. The Fair is an opportunity for local businesses to build their sales networks, generate leads, sell products, advertise, and recruit new team members.
“This event connects MCC and area high school students to business opportunities across the county,” said Sherry Ridge, instructor and department chair of Business and Marketing at MCC, who leads the event. “The last time we hosted this event in 2019, we had nearly 200 people in attendance. It’s great for small independent contractors and businesses who offer services to other businesses.”
Attendees of the event include those who want to learn about starting, marketing, and operating a small business or are interested in pursuing a career in direct sales or independent contracting.
The registration fee for vendors is $25 until July 29. After July 29, the fee increases to $35. The deadline to register as a vendor is October 20, 2022.
Those looking to attend the Small Business Fair do not need to register in advance. It is free for individuals to attend.
The Fair will take place in the MCC gym, 8900 US Hwy. 14, Crystal Lake, IL 60012. It is sponsored by MCC Career Services, Business Club, and Business Department; the Illinois Small Business Development Center at MCC; and the Cary-Grove, Crystal Lake, Huntley, Marengo-Union, and McHenry Area Chambers of Commerce.
