Author event featuring Jarrett Dapier in conversation with Kelly Jensen

Join us for an author event with Jarrett Dapier on Thursday, September 10, 2026 at 6:30 p.m. at Read Between The Lynes. Dapier, author of Wake Now in the Fire, will be in conversation with local author Kelly Jensen. Dapier is a Chicago-area librarian and the recipient of the John Phillip Immroth Award from the American Library Association's Intellectual Freedom Round Table for his work exposing book censorship in the Chicago Public Schools.  Jensen is an Editor at Book Riot. She covers all things young adult literature and has written about censorship for nearly ten years. She is the author of three critically-acclaimed and award-winning anthologies for young adults.
