I have been working full time in real estate for over 25 years. In that time I helped over 1,000 clients buy and sell from Crystal Lake to Wonder Lake, Huntley to Harvard, Marengo to McHenry, as well as Woodstock.  Working with young families buying their first home gives me just as much satisfaction as selling a Bull Valley estate. In addition to selling homes, townhomes and condos I have worked with customers on commercial and office space, investment property and farms. I consistently rank among the top Realtors in McHenry County.

I have lived in Woodstock all of my life and watched the community evolve and grow over the years.  Throughout my life I have looked for ways to grow with, and to serve the community.  My first business in Woodstock was Fischer Tire Service, Inc. After only six months of running the business I was severely injured in a tire related accident.  Because of the efforts of the Woodstock Rescue Squad my injuries, while severe were not life threatening.  My value of service to the community drew me to the Woodstock Fire Department which later became the Woodstock Fire/Rescue District.  I remained a member of the fire service for the next 25 years.  Upon ending my career in the fire service I opened Extra Eyez Inspections, LLC.  In an effort to continue serving the community I now focus on assisting new home buyers learn about the home they are purchasing.  

I am a local real estate agent and business owner, I am highly invested with Woodstock, the residents and the community.  I own Success Realty Partners and am a top real estate agent in the area, I have sold over 100 homes a year for the last 3 years. I truly love helping people buy or sell their homes.  2017 recipient of McHenry County's Best under 40, 2018 recipient of Woodstock Chamber of Commerce Entrepreneur of the Year, 2018 Recipient of top 23/250 of National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals.  I also love giving my time for different organizations like Hispanic Connections, which I have been a major contributor for the successful events held like The Mexican Independence Day celebration and Churros with Santa.  

I am a 28 year resident of Woodstock, Illinois originally from West Rogers Park,Chicago.  I have 23+ years of experience in finance, with 22 years in the mortgage lending industry.  I was the recipient of the Corporation For Affordable Homes of McHenry County (CAHMCO), American Dream Award in 1999, recognizing my commitment to help first-time home buyers.  That same year I received a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition from U.S. Congressman Donald Manzullo for service to the community.  I am an active member of the Woodstock Noon Rotary Club, former councilman for the City of Woodstock, board member of District 200 Education Foundation and serve on the  fundraising committee of the Environmental Defenders of McHenry County, a non-profit environmental education and advocacy organization.

I live in Woodstock with my wife Ellen, a retired educator. We have 4 children. Our daughter, Tessa Jania, is a licensed Realtor and works with me at BHHS Starck Real Estate.

The last 5 years I have been the #1 Berkshire Hathaway agent in McHenry County. I consistently rank among the top 10 among all Realtors in McHenry County. I have earned the GRI designation (Graduate, Realtor Institute) and CRS designation (Certified Residential Specialist). I also serve on the City of Woodstock Zoning Board of Appeals and am Chairman of the Woodstock Groundhog Days Committee.
